USHP Technician Advancement Scholarships
Purpose:
The Utah Society of Health-System Pharmacists (USHP) promotes the advancement of pharmacy technicians.
This scholarship is available for the following advanced Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certifications and certificates:
- Billing and Reimbursement Certificate
- Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT)
- Controlled Substances Diversion Prevention Certificate
- Hazardous Drug Management Certificate
- Immunization Administration Certificate
- Medication History Certificate
- Medication Therapy Management Certificate
- Point of Care Testing Certificate
- Supply Chain and Inventory Management Certificate
- Technician Product Verification Certificate

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
- Be a current certified pharmacy technician licensed in the state of Utah
- Hold a current membership in USHP. If you would like to obtain membership, please click here.
Deadline:
There is no deadline for this scholarship. Each candidate’s application is reviewed and approved as funds are available.
Application Process:
Email a completed application to: scholarship@ushp.org. Once approved, you will have 90 days to obtain the certificate, and provide proof of certification to USHP. Upon verification of completion, you will be reimbursed for the cost of the certificate.
